Etiske prinsipper / Code of Conduct

1. Overholdelse av lover og forskrifter

Leverandører skal etterleve alle gjeldende lover, forskrifter og internasjonale standarder som regulerer deres virksomhet, inkludert regler om arbeidsforhold, menneskerettigheter, miljøvern og produktsikkerhet.

2. Respekt for menneskerettigheter

Leverandører skal respektere og fremme menneskerettighetene til alle som påvirkes av deres virksomhet, inkludert ansatte, kontraktører og lokalsamfunn, i tråd med prinsippene i Verdenserklæringen om menneskerettigheter (UNHR) og andre relevante internasjonale konvensjoner.

3. Ansvarlige arbeidsforhold

Leverandører skal sørge for trygge og sunne arbeidsforhold i samsvar med gjeldende lover og forskrifter om helse og sikkerhet.

Tvangsarbeid, barnearbeid eller annen form for påtvungent eller ufrivillig arbeid er ikke tillatt.

Arbeidstakere skal ha rett til organisasjonsfrihet og kollektive forhandlinger i henhold til internasjonale arbeidsstandarder.

4. Rettferdig ansettelsespraksis

Leverandører skal sikre like arbeidsmuligheter for alle, uavhengig av kjønn, alder, etnisitet, religion, funksjonshemming, seksuell orientering eller andre beskyttede kjennetegn.

Diskriminering i ansettelse, forfremmelse, lønn eller oppsigelse er uakseptabelt.

5. Etisk forretningsdrift

Leverandører skal drive sin virksomhet med ærlighet, integritet og åpenhet og avstå fra bestikkelser, korrupsjon og uetisk atferd.

Nøyaktige regnskaper og finansielle oppføringer skal opprettholdes i samsvar med gjeldende lover og regler mot korrupsjon.

6. Miljøansvar

Leverandører skal minimere sin miljøpåvirkning og arbeide for bærekraftige løsninger.

Alle miljølover og forskrifter knyttet til avfallshåndtering, forurensningsforebygging og ressursforvaltning skal overholdes.

7. Ansvar i leverandørkjeden

Leverandører skal fremme ansvarlige innkjøpspraksiser og sikre sporbarhet og åpenhet av råvarer og delprodukter i forsyningskjeden.

Våre forventninger om etisk atferd og etterlevelse av denne kodeksen skal kommuniseres videre til leverandørens underleverandører.

8. Kontinuerlig forbedring

Leverandører skal kontinuerlig overvåke og forbedre sine rutiner i samsvar med prinsippene i denne kodeksen.

Marine Dynamics AS kan gjennomføre varslede og ikke-varslede revisjoner, vurderinger og evalueringer for å sikre etterlevelse av kravene, og leverandøren plikter å samarbeide om gjennomføring av disse. Eventuelle kostnader tilknyttet slik revisjon, dekkes av leverandør.

Rapportering og konsekvenser ved brudd

Leverandører oppfordres til å umiddelbart rapportere eventuelle brudd på Marine Dynamics etiske prinsipper, så vel som bekymringer knyttet til uetisk atferd.

Marine Dynamics AS forbeholder seg retten til å iverksette passende tiltak, inkludert opphør av forretningsforhold, ved brudd på våre etiske prinsipper.

Ved å følge våre etiske prinsipper, viser leverandører sitt engasjement for etisk forretningspraksis, sosialt ansvar og bærekraftig utvikling.

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and international standards governing their operations, including those related to labour practices, human rights, environmental protection, and product safety.

2. Respect for Human Rights

Suppliers must respect and uphold the human rights of all individuals involved in their operations, including employees, contractors, and local communities, in accordance with the principles outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other relevant international conventions.

3. Labor Practices

Suppliers shall provide safe and healthy working conditions for their employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant occupational health and safety laws and standards.

Suppliers shall prohibit the use of forced labour, child labour, and any form of involuntary or compulsory labour.

Suppliers shall uphold the rights of workers to freedom of association and collective bargaining, as recognized by international labour standards.

4. Fair Employment Practices

Suppliers shall provide fair and equal employment opportunities for all individuals, regardless of race, colour, gender, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

Suppliers shall not engage in discriminatory practices in hiring, promotion, compensation, or termination of employment.

5. Ethical Business Conduct

Suppliers shall conduct their business with honesty, integrity, and transparency, avoiding any form of bribery, corruption, or unethical behaviour.

Suppliers shall maintain accurate records and financial accounts and comply with all applicable anti-corruption laws and regulations.

6. Environmental Responsibility

Suppliers shall minimize their environmental impact and strive to operate in an environmentally sustainable manner.

Suppliers shall comply with all environmental laws and regulations, including those related to waste management, pollution prevention, and resource conservation.

7. Supply Chain Responsibility

Suppliers shall promote responsible sourcing practices throughout their supply chain, including the traceability and transparency of raw materials and components.

Suppliers shall communicate our expectations regarding ethical conduct and compliance with this Supplier Code of Conduct to their own suppliers and subcontractors.

8. Continuous Improvement

Suppliers shall continuously monitor and improve their performance in accordance with the principles outlined in this Supplier Code of Conduct.

Marine Dynamics AS may conduct announced and unannounced audits, assessments, and evaluations to ensure compliance with these standards, and the supplier is obligated to cooperate in their execution. Any supplier costs associated with such an audit shall be covered by the supplier.

Reporting and Non-Compliance

Suppliers are encouraged to promptly report any violations of this Supplier Code of Conduct or concerns related to unethical behaviour or non-compliance.

Marine Dynamics AS reserves the right to take appropriate corrective actions, including termination of business relationships, in cases of non-compliance with this Supplier Code of Conduct.

By adhering to the principles outlined in this Supplier Code of Conduct, suppliers demonstrate their commitment to ethical business practices, social responsibility, and sustainable development.
